 Financial Assistance

Fisheries Department Haryana provides financial assistance to fish farmers for taking up various activities in fisheries sector. A scheme-wise detail of financial assistance being provided is as under:-

1. Plan Scheme for intensive Fisheries Development Programme :-

   The main objectives of the scheme are as under:-

  • To create additional water area by excavating new Ponds/renovation of community land for fish culture.
  • To provide technical assistance to fish farmers for sustaining the fish culture in the existing ponds and micro watersheds.
  • To provide financial assistance for Shallow, Deep Tubewell and Aerator.

  Financial Assistance to Fish Farmers under the Plan scheme for the Intensive Fisheries Development Programme given below :-

2. Plan Scheme for Welfare of Scheduled Castes Families in Fisheries Sector :-

  The main objectives of the scheme are to provide full time employment to persons belonging to SC families in fisheries sector:-

  • To raise socio-economic status of SC families by providing financial assistance under different components.
  • To impart training to the SC families for the fish culture and marketing sector.
  • The main of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the fish farmer in the shape subsidy for Fish Culture.
  • Under this scheme Department provide subsidy on inputs @ 60% to the fish farmer on inputs (Pelleted feed) with ceiling upto 2 hectare.

 

 Financial Assistance to Fish Farmers under the Plan Scheme Welfare to Scheduled Caste Families in Fisheries Sector is given below :-

4)

Subsidy on purchase of fishing nets

50% subsidy on the purchase of fishing nets of amounting to Rs. 20000/- and maximum limit of grant Rs :-20000/-.

5)

Subsidy on Annual Auction of Notified Waters.

50% subsidy of the actual auctioned amount with maximum limit of Rs. 3,00,000/-

Project Cost Rs. 8.00 lakh/Hectare (Subsidy will be limited to 40% of the project cost for General Category and 60% of the project cost for SC/ Women Beneficiary.

Provision of Polythene lining for the Construction of New ponds for Saline/Alkaline are including Polythene. prescribed by DoF), an additional governmental assistance up to Rs. 2 lakh per ha may be provided to beneficiaries (General/SC/ST/Woman). This additional governmental assistance up to Rs. 2 lakh per ha has been arrived at based on the unit cost of polythene Rs. 8 lakh/hectare. Further, this amount up to Rs. 2 lakh would be shared between centre and state as per funding pattern under CSS component of PMMSY.

c)

Technology infusion and adaption

Establishment of large RAS (with 8 tanks of minimum 90 m3/tank capacity 40 ton/crop)/ Biofloc (50 tanks of 4m dia and 1.5 high) culture system.

Project Cost Rs. 50.0 lakh/Hectare   (Subsidy will be limited to 20% of the project cost for General Category of beneficiaries  and 25% of the project cost for Weaker sections/SC/ST/Women.
